Save a life.
"We can't save every one, so we do what we can, when we can."
For over 100 years, we've cared for unwanted animals across St. Lawrence County — offering shelter, medical care, and a second chance at a loving home.
Our Mission
To provide quality care for unwanted animals, alleviate pain and suffering, promote quality adoptions, advocate spay/neuter, and educate the public on the humane treatment of all animals.

A century of caring for our county's animals
The St. Lawrence Valley SPCA has served the animals of St. Lawrence County for over 100 years. We shelter animals who have nowhere else to go, reunite lost pets with their families, work with the community to spay and neuter, and find loving forever homes.
We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we rely on the generosity of our neighbors to keep our doors open.
